KBRP's programming has been recognized regionally and nationally for its unique and critical content. This includes recognition from the World Community Broadcasters Association (AMAEC), the National Federation of Community Broadcasters (NFCB), Pacifica National Programming, Intercollegiate Broadcasting System (IBS), the Arizona Commission on the Arts, the Arizona Humanities Council, and the Museum Association of Arizona.
