Our "Feed My Sheep" program took us to several camps & other areas in Tucson. Since we go out twice monthly, we alternate different areas of town, returning to those that had the largest need. At each bi-monthly outreach we encounter from 30-60 people. We are blessed to have received 8346 lbs. of food from the Midwest Food Bank and we received a FEMA grant of $1,735.50 for food. Our personal hygiene in-kind donations totaled $493. We provided other items for our guests and clients, including lodging, documents, and storage, and purchased additional food and hygiene items.
Our Community Program covers all additional expenses for clientele throughout the month. Since we are listed on the internet and on AZ211, we get requests from the community in general.
