THE ROAD 2 RECOVERY FOUNDATION R2R WAS FOUNDED TO HELP AMA LICENSED PROFESSIONAL MOTOCROSS/SUPERCROSS AND ACTION SPORT ATHLETES WITH FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IF THEY SUSTAIN DEBILITATING INJURIES AS WELL AS PROVIDING MOTIVATIONAL, EMOTIONAL, AND SPIRITUAL SUPPORT TO THESE INDIVIDUALS AND THEIR FAMILIES. R2R IS DEDICATED TO ENSURING THAT EVERY DOLLAR DONATED TO AN ATHLETES FUND GOES A FAR AS POSSIBLE. ONE OF OUR MAIN GOALS IS TO BUILD AN ENDOWMENT LARGE ENOUGH TO COMPLETELY PROVIDE FOR LIFELONG EXPENSES OF A QUALIFIED ATHLETE IF THEY ARE UNABLE TO GENERATE REVENUE AGAIN. R2R STRIVES FOR THIS GOAL WITH THE HELP OF EVERYONE IN THE MOTOCROSS AND ACTION SPORTS COMMUNITY. R2R IS HERE TO MAKE OUR SPORTS A BETTER, SAFER PLACE. IN 2024, R2R PROVIDED FUNDING SUPPORT TO 26 ATHLETES AND FAMILIES, PURCHASED THREE SCOOTERS, NINE WHEELCHAIRS, TWO SHOWER CHAIRS, ONE SET OF HAND CONTROLS, AND OTHER ITEMS. WE PROVIDED LIVING EXPENSES, MEDICAL BILLS PAID, THERAPY, MEDICATION, 4,594 TO A GROUP HOME, 6,381 FOR ALPINESTARS MEDICAL MOBILE UNIT TRACKSIDE X-RAY MACHINE.
