Silicon Valley Academy?s vision is to develop children?s love of learning, so they become lifelong learners and consciousness contributing members of society. Our current programs have implemented the GLAD Model Guided Language Acquisition Design to help our vision become a reality in the daily lives of our students. During the 2023 academic year, SVA is proud to have sponsored the education of over 10 socially disadvantaged children. SVA was able to partner with different organizations, such as Rahima Foundation, to help in the support of the socially disadvantaged at our school. SVA?s student population grew by about 20. As a result, we hired additional staff members to continue to offer support, scaffolding, and guidance to our students, including those who struggle. Furthermore, SVA implemented a new makerspace curriculum for our KG-8th grade students. Lastly, SVA expanded its after school clubs and athletic leagues.
