Planned the inaugural Uproar Festival of Public Art, a county-wide festival that took place in July-August, 2023. Fundraising by the Arts Alliance took place in FY23 to support expenses that mostly occurred in FY24 including artist payments, marketing, and installation costs. The festival featured a fully accessible, interactive community event created to increase foot traffic in our downtown communities during the slow summer months and engaged residents and visitors in the arts. Implemented several grant-funded programs including Studio Be for underrepresented youth, the LGBTQIA+ Teen Arts Collective, and our BIPOC Artist in Residence Program, providing a free studio for a local artist of color.
