n the 2023-2024 fiscal year, Youth Leadership Initiative (YLI) expanded its staff, hiring two full-time and one part-time member, and partnered with Macalester College and the Right Track program to provide internship opportunities. YLI increased youth outreach, organized events such as the Inspiration Dinner and Changemaker Session, and recruited one youth to its Board of Directors. The YLI After School Leadership Program served 32 youth, primarily from the east metro area. Additionally, YLI facilitated leadership development workshops for 25 youth and 224 adults through the YLI Institute and worked with a local school district to assess student advocacy initiatives, providing recommendations based on feedback from 45 youth and 28 staff members.
