Educational events and help sessions for students seeking federal financial aid and federal student loan borrowers: MCCFW hosted online and in-person help sessions to support FAFSA completion. MCCFW hosted several informational webinars for public service employers and provided employees with assistance in completing applications for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF), Income-Driven Repayment (IDR), and/or consolidation where necessary to obtain federal student loan benefits. These offerings were provided to public servants for free with costs covered by philanthropic grants for pre-K thru 12th grade educators in Prince George's County and Baltimore City, Maryland. As of June 30, 2025, the organization has helped public servants gain approval for more than $20 million in loan forgiveness through PSLF.

Annual virtual Symposium for campus-based professionals and community partners: MCCFW hosts industry experts and campus personnel, mostly from Maryland, to learn, share, and grow collegiate financial wellness initiatives as a part of a larger effort to increase postsecondary student success. Curriculum writing and pilot planning for the CRREST Academy. CRREST stands for Creditworthy, Ready, Resilient, Empowered, Successful, and Thriving. The Academy will be offered to current college students in Maryland through a pilot. The curriculum will be delivered via an online financial education platform and the content (videos and experiential exercises) is designed specifically for current college and career school students. The pilot phase will launch in 2025 and the Academy will be provided to students free of charge.
