These trainings focused on equipping participants-many of whom represent historically underserved populations-with tools to engage in local governance, influence policy decisions, and organize grassroots efforts to address pressing social and economic challenges. Topics included leadership development, public speaking, understanding local government processes, coalition-building, and strategies for effective advocacy. As a result, participants reported increased confidence in their ability to engage in civic dialogue, take on leadership roles within their communities, and advocate for systemic change.
