Founded in 2020, the BDHEA is a pioneering non-profit 501(c)(3) organizationdedicated to transforming health care by eliminating disparities that disproportionately affect Black communities. The BDHEAs commitment to health equity will ensure that ALL have the ability to achieve their full health potential. Expanded the BDHEA Directors Toolkit by initiating the development of aPlaybook for Community Health Centers and Public Hospitals. This will expandthe Playbook to more than 4.2K hospitals and CHCs and support its usage. To advance the Board Diversity and Inclusion Project convened a task force ofBoard Directors and Senior leaders in health. to define and develop strategiesand actions which will champion and support increased participation of Blackboard directors who represent the heart of their communities. Laid the groundwork to launch the BDHEAs Clinical Steering Council (CSC). TheCSC will leverage the expertise of subject matter professionals to advance ourhealth care Disparities and Outcomes Pillar, with a focus on reducing healthdisparities and improving the health of the Black community, and everyone.
