IN 2023, CANTON FOR ALL PEOPLE REHABBED HOMES FOR AFFORDABLE RENTAL AND HOMEOWNERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES, BEGAN A NEW CONSTRUCTION PROGRAM FOR THE GREATER SHORB NEIGHBORHOOD, COMPLETED THE RENOVATION OF VACANT COMMERCIALSPACE FOR THE SHORB FRESH MARKET, AND COMPLETED GONDER PLACE, A FACILITY THAT HOUSES ACOMMUNITY GROCERY AND FEDERALLY QUALIFIED HEALTH CENTER IN CANTON'S SOUTHEASTNEIGHBORHOOD.
