In 2025 RMLA continued stewardship of Split Rock Mountain Taheetaway through site monitoring ecological documentation volunteer stewardship mobilization cleanup readiness environmental due diligence partner coordination and restoration planning. RMLA organized recurring volunteer cleanup stewardship days to support debris removal and site readiness conducted soil screening and related due diligence to support safe staged planting and documented priority ecological conditions including native plant communities invasive species pressures hemlock decline and beech leaf disease. RMLA also developed a working seed stewardship relationship with NYC Parks Greenbelt Native Plant Center using the Seeds of Success approach supporting sustainable native seed collection seed banking propagation pathways and restoration readiness. RMLA continued planning educational programming rooted in Indigenous land stewardship cultural heritage Traditional Ecological Knowledge ecological restoration and community learning.
