WEST LAKES HWC, INC. PERFORMS AND CARRIES OUT THE EXEMPT PURPOSES OF LIFT ORLANDO, INC. SPECIFICALLY, THE PRIMARY PURPOSE OF WEST LAKES HWC, INC. IS THE CONSTRUCTION AND OPERATION OF A HEALTH AND WELLNESS CENTER KNOWN AS THE HEART OF WEST LAKES WELLNESS CENTER (HEART). IN JUNE OF 2021, WEST LAKES HWC SECURED NEW MARKETS TAX CREDITS TO PROVIDE THE FINAL FUNDING NEEDED TO FINANCE THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE HEART OF WEST LAKES WELLNESS CENTER. THE HEART OPENED IN JUNE 2023 AND IS A RESIDENT-FOCUSED CENTER, DESIGNED TO STRENGTHEN THE COMMUNITY BY PROVIDING CONVENIENT ACCESS TO HOLISTIC HEALTH, FINANCIAL, AND LIFESTYLE SERVICES UNDER ONE ROOF. THE TWO-STORY FACILITY IS A SPACE FOR RESIDENTS TO CONNECT, LEARN, AND THRIVE, AND FEATURES FIRST-CLASS AMENITIES PAIRED WITH DECOR THAT PAYS HOMAGE TO THE COMMUNITY'S RICH HISTORY. ON THE FIRST FLOOR, RESIDENTS CAN ACCESS LEGACY CAFE, THE WEST LAKES FINANCIAL WELLBEING CENTER, THE FLORIDA BLUE CENTER ORLANDO WEST LAKES, THE HEART OF WEST LAKES EVENT SPACE, AND GREEN SPACES. ON THE SECOND FLOOR, COMMUNITY HEALTH CENTERS (CHC) PROVIDES COMPREHENSIVE HEALTHCARE SERVICES AND A PHARMACY, OFFERING A VITAL, NEW RESOURCE TO COMBAT THE AREA'S EXTREME LACK OF ACCESS TO HEALTHCARE SERVICES. THIS FLOOR IS ALSO HOME TO THE OFFICES OF LIFT ORLANDO AND ELEVATE ORLANDO.
