CHILDREN'S JUSTICE CENTER THE CHILDRENS JUSTICE CENTER IS A FACILITY THAT PROVIDES TRAUMA-INFORMED SERVICES TO VICTIMS OF CHILD ABUSE. SERVICES INCLUDE COORDINATION OF INVESTIGATION, MEDICAL EXAMINATIONS AND HELP TO FAMILIES TO START THE PROCESS OF HEALING AFTER THE TRAUMA OF ABUSE. ESSENTIAL SERVICES ARE PROVIDED IN TWO LOCATIONS IN UTAH COUNTY. FRIENDS OF THE UTAH COUNTY CHILDREN'S JUSTICE CENTER PROVIDED GRANTS, DISTIBUTED IN-KIND CARE PACKAGES, AND PROVIDED OTHER SUPPORT TO THE CHILDREN'S JUSTICE CENTER.

THERAPY FRIENDS OF THE UTAH COUNTY CHILDREN'S JUSTICE CENTER SUPPORTED THE UTAH COUNTY CHILDREN'S JUSTICE CENTER IN PROVIDING THERAPY. FROM JULY 2024-JUNE 2025 THE CJC PROVIDED GROUP THERAPY TO 281 NEW THERAPY CLIENTS. ALTOGETHER, 572 INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING SESSIONS AND 2,295 GROUP THERAPY SERVICES WERE PROVIDED TO PRIMARY AND SECONDARY VICTIMS OF PHYSICAL AND SEXUAL ABUSE.

THE TEDDY BEAR PROJECT CONTINUES TO PROVIDE 75+ HANDMADE BEARS EACH MONTH TO BOTH UTAH COUNTY CJC LOCATIONS. EACH BEAR TAKES 5-7 HOURS TO MAKE BETWEEN SEWING, STUFFING, AND ACCESSORIZING. EVERY CHILD THAT VISITS THE CJC FOR A FORENSIC INTERVIEW IS GIVEN THE OPPORTUNITY TO SELECT A BEAR THAT IS UNIQUE TO THEM.
