The activities sponsored include competitive weight-pulling contests in several equipment divisions: Stock Gas, Work Stock Diesel, 2.5 Diesel, 3.0 Diesel, Super Stock 4X4, Modified 2WD, Pro Stock 4X4, Modified 4X4, Super Stock Diesel, Super Modified 2WD, Super Mod 4X4, Super Farm Tractor, Pro Farm Tractor, Unlimited Modified Tractor. The contests are designed to promote competition, safety, and good sportsmanship among tractor and truck owners, as well as develop an appreciation among participants and spectators alike of the mechanical skills and dedication necessary to build and maintain the pulling units. Events are held each year throughout the states of Utah, Idaho, Nevada, Wyoming, and Montana at various county fairgrounds and other suitable locations. Prizes are awarded to winners in the various pulling divisions. Each year a banquet is held to acknowledge winners of each division and for socialization with families and friends.
