TO YOU FROM US

The "To You From Us Youth Leadership Program" is an exceptional initiative that aims to empower young people between the ages of 8-17, by equipping them with essential life skills, leadership training and social-emotional learning. This transformative program is designed to help young people discover their potential and become leaders of tomorrow. We provide interactive sessions in STEAAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Agriculture and Mathematics), workshops, and community projects. Our program is aimed at developing skills that go beyond the classroom, including communication, problem-solving, critical thinking, conflict resolution and teamwork. We also engage participants in community service projects and activities to build strong community connections. This helps young people develop a sense of community and learn about the impact they can make as leaders. Since its inception, our program has made significant strides in youth development. Our program has mentored 85 students from marginalized communities, providing over 2500 hours of mentorship to help with confidence, self-esteem, and social-emotional development. Our backpack giveback has served over 2000 students with backpacks, school supplies, hygiene kits, and other community resources. Our program allocated 600 hours for the interactive cooking workshop and provided 55 students with free laptops in our STEAM Camp that also taught animation and coding. Moreover, our program provided 500 families with over 1000 toys for our Christmas Giveaway and reached 250 families with Round-Table Talk discussions about issues affecting our communities and strategies for resolution. Through our program, we were able to provide gift cards for 100 teachers and students as part of our student/teacher appreciation initiative. Lastly, but certainly not least, our amazing volunteers have donated over 4000 hours of their time to our program. In summary, the "To You From Us Youth Leadership Program" is a comprehensive initiative that is committed to empowering young people and building strong leaders for the future.
