Research Program: In August, 2024, we completed the research fellowship program that we started in September 2022 with the support of International Development Research Centre (IDRC) and hosted by Mizoram University. Under this program, the ICA also ran the second batch of a Burmese language course at Mizoram University from November 2023 until December 2024. The ICA research team completed multiple research papers, incident reports, quarterly briefing paper, human rights violation reports and multiple articles highlighting issues that the Chin people are facing during the year.

Healthcare: Since May 18, 2022, ICA has collaborated with its partner organizations to deliver healthcare services to displaced and vulnerable populations in Chin State, Myanmar, and Mizoram State, India. During 2024, ICA operated one clinic in Mizoram State of India, two clinics in Chin State and mobile clinics at both locations for displaced and local people affected by the conflict in Myanmar. One of the two clinics was newly opened in 2024.

Education: During 2024, ICA had higher education and basic eduation programs. ICA worked with two universities in Northeast India for 14 Myanmar displaced students to continue their higher education. Under basic education programs, ICA supported over 550 teachers for over 6,000 students from primary to high school in Chin State of Myanmar. In Mizoram State of India, ICA supported 16 teachers for refugee schools in Zokhawthar town near Myanmar border. ICA also supported over 5000 refugee students in Lunglei, Aizawl, Uilui, Zokhawthar, Zote and Lawngtlai with study materials, school uniforms and cost to repair classrooms and school facilities like bathrooms. ICA also worked it its partner organizations to facilitate teachers' education training for 10 times in 2024.
