Retail and Gallery Space - ARTE NOIR celebrated its second anniversary alongside the purchase of its gallery and retail space at 23rd and Union. The space was expanded by 200 square feet to accommodate a small recording studioan addition that complements the makerspace and focuses on training for young artists. The Black Artist Roster was launched and a guest editorial commissioning program commenced. Four gallery exhibits and artists talks featured local Black artists includingPacific Northwest African American Quilters Association, a collective of Black fiber artists dedicated to reviving and preserving the rich tradition of quilting.

Other Programming - The number of newsletter subscribers increased to over 2000 and the number of countries subscribers represented rose to over 25. The search for a strategic planning consultant began, a new partnership was formed with the Seattle Opera resulting in the Opera hosting their first ever Black Arts Market. A new style, and photo editorial section was added to the newsletter, and ARTE NOIR created programming for the monthly CD Art Walk. ARTE NOIR was selected as one of only 2 West Coast sites for a national tour of a Lorraine Hansberry bronze sculpture.
