BBA HAS SEVERAL PROGRAMS THAT HAVE BEEN DEVELOPED TO HELP US ACHIEVE OUR INITIATIVES. OUR MOST AMBITIOUS PROGRAM IS A TREEPLANTING PROJECT WITH ONE OF THE SCHOOL DISTRICTS IN SAN ANTONIO. IN PARTNERSHIP WITH NORTHSIDE INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT NISD AND THE PARTICIPATING 4TH AND 5THGRADE CLASSES OF FIVE SELECTED ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS ARE PLANTING 500 TREES THROUGHOUT THE CAMPUSES IN 2023. THIS TREEPLANTING PROJECT WILL EXPAND THE CURRICULUM OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE LESSON FOR THE STUDENTS BY GIVING THEM HANDS-ONEXPERIENCE IN PLANTING TREES. THEY WILL LEARN HOW TO PROPERLY PLANT A TREE AND THE FUTURE BENEFITS OF THE PROJECT FOR THE SCHOOL AND THE BROADER COMMUNITY. THEY WILL ALSO LEARN ABOUT CAREERS IN FORESTRY AND OTHER OPPORTUNITIES TO WORK WITH TREES AND BE OUTDOORS. THERE ARE MANY BENEFITS TO PLANTING TREES AT EACH OF THESE SCHOOLS. WE PURCHASED A FORD F250 A TRAILER WITH A 1,000 GALLON WATER TANK AND SAFETY EQUIPMENT.
