We are a group of dedicated community organizers and support specialists directed by and accountable to our community - Black, Brown, Indigenous, and people of the global majority who are incarcerated, impacted by gun violence, or who face ongoing barriers of the reintegration process after legally liberated from the carceral system. Our program supports community reintegration, economic empowerment, and social justice through key initiatives. We assist individuals re-entering society after incarceration with housing, employment, and stability, and expand opportunities in Spokane through BRC-SPOKANE. Our partnership with AHANA has helped 45 individuals complete financial literacy training. Youth engagement initiatives, like the PDK Martial Arts grant, foster leadership and discipline. We address digital equity, combat tech trauma, and support housing stability, helping 31 individuals with homeownership opportunities. Additionally, we lead advocacy and training on equity, liberation, and justice reform, strengthening community partnerships and empowering marginalized groups.
