The Open Sky program has been going strong this past fiscal year. Local media station WMUR created a documentary through NH Chronicles on our program which aired February 17, 2023 and which can be viewed on their YouTube channel. It is entitled "Prison Theatre Program". Also, JSI is a healthcare research organization currently evaluating our program for effectiveness. According to the Key Informant Interviews conducted by JSI , Open Sky participants experience: Increased self-awareness; an increased sense of self-worth, self-esteem, and self-confidence; increased self-control/decrease impulsivity; improved speech, increased eye contact and improved communication skills; increased empathy and thoughtfulness; ability to think things through and more engagement with others; the ability to find comfort in an uncomfortable situation; an improved way of treating others. We are currently building a list of accomplishments to share with our donors and that will be published on our website this fall as soon as it is complete.
