THE FILING ORGANIZATION IS A PART OF THE ASCENSION CATHOLIC HEALTH MINISTRY. ASCENSION IS A FAITH-BASED HEALTHCARE ORGANIZATION THAT DELIVERS PERSONALIZED, COMPASSIONATE CARE TO ALL, ESPECIALLY TO THOSE WHO NEED IT THE MOST. ASCENSION LIVING ST VINCENT PACE, INSPIRED BY THE HEALING MISSION OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH TO THE ELDERLY, HAVE INCURRED PROGRAM RELATED EXPENSES AS THEY PREPARE TO OPEN. ONCE OPEN, THEY PLAN TO PROVIDE IN-HOME AND COMMUNITY SERVICES TO ELDERLY AND DISABLED PERSONS. ST VINCENT PACE WILL OFFER THE PACE PROGRAM (ALL-INCLUSIVE CARE FOR THE ELDERLY), WHICH IS AN ALTERNATIVE TO NURSING HOME CARE FOR THOSE WHO REQUIRE LONG-TERM HEALTH CARE BUT WISH TO REMAIN LIVING IN THEIR OWN HOME. THE PROGRAM HELPS PEOPLE LIVE AT HOME, RECEIVE LONG TERM CARE SERVICES AND STILL REMAIN PART OF THEIR COMMUNITY. ST VINCENT PACE WILL SERVE PEOPLE IN THE GREATER INDIANAPOLIS METRO AREA, ACROSS 47 ZIP CODES AND 11 COUNTIES INCLUDING: BOONE; CLINTON; DELAWARE; HAMILTON; HANCOCK; HENDRICKS; MADISON; MARION; MORGAN; RUSH; AND SHELBY COUNTIES. A TREND OF SIGNIFICANCE IN THE COMMUNITY IS THE GROWING ELDERLY POPULATION, TO ADDRESS THIS TREND, ST VINCENT PACE IS COLLABORATING WITH OTHER COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO: MEALS ON WHEELS; AND NURSING EDUCATION ORGANIZATIONS TO PROVIDE SERVICES AND EDUCATION TO THE ELDERLY IN FISCAL YEAR 2023.
