Colorado Softball Academy Foundation, founded in 2021, is a community nonprofit in the Recreation & Sports sector that reported $1.1M in total revenue in fiscal year 2023.

Mission

The Colorado Softball Academy Foundation, Inc. mission is to provide and support opportunities for female-athletes that coach and teach the WHOLE athlete mentally, physically, and emotionally through programs and areas of support. A study by the Women's Sports Foundation reported that in the U.S., sport is widely recognized as a tool of child development and health promotion. Benefits include but are not limited to physical health, mental health, emotional health, social health, academic performance, high levels of self confidence and leadership development. In fact, a survey of 400 female corporate executives found that 94 played a sport and that 61 say sports contributed to their career success. While we have a great understanding of the benefits associated with participation in sports, there is still a large equity and opportunity disparity between sports for boys and for girls nationwide. The Women's Sports Foundation has found that boys get 1.13 million more opportunities in sport
