FIERCE Advocates' CoCo Doula program conducted two cohorts of training Black women to become community-based doulas and a a result 29 people graduated from the training program and five trainees were identifed at the end of the year to join our staff team in early 2024 and provide doula services to Black birthing people in Contra Costa County. In 2023, FIERCE Advocates achieved a major milestone with supporting the pregancy and delivery of the 100th baby in the program.

FIERCE Advocates' Health and Wellness Program, hosted robust programming including our life coaching program that was expanded to include Latinx women, peer support groups that created community in a safe environment that cultivates wellness and emotional well-being. Additionally we hosted family wellness days, that included arts and crafts and wellness classes and outdoor activities such as community hikes. FIERCE Advocates launched a pilot project called Black Family Sanctuary that included youth ages 4-15 who participated in eight sessions where they enjoyed community acticities with other families.
