The sole program service accomplishment of Friends of St. Michael in 2022 was supporting St. Michael Academy High School, a Classical Catholic High School in Petoskey Michigan. 100% of the expenses incurred by Friends of St. Michael were for this activity. Friends of St. Michael provided assistance to St. Michael Academy High School in two ways: (a) directly paying various expenses that supported the operation of St. Michael Academy High School, and (b) granting funds to St. Michael Academy High School. Through this support, Friends of St. Michael helped St. Michael Academy High School deliver a high-quality, Catholic Classical education to 32 students from three counties in Northern Michigan. The long-term objective of Friends of St. Michael is to continue its support of St. Michael Academy High School as well as developing Classical education and programs at other Catholic schools (such as middle schools and elementary schools) in northern Michigan through curriculum support and teacher training.
