WE PURCAHSED 4 DEEP FREEZERS TO STORE PREMIUM GROUND BEEF FOR DISTRIBUTION TO FLOOD VICTIMS.WE HAD 18 COLLECTION SITE FOR ACCEPTING DONATED FOOD AND SUPPLIES FOR DISASTER RELIEF. THE HENS OF HOPE FOR APPALACHIA PROJECT- PARTICIPANTS OF THIS PROJECT RECEIVED HENS, HOUSING, FEEDERS, WATERS, AND LAYER FEED TO PRODUCE EGGS FOR THEIR FAMILY WITH A PERCENT OF THE EGGS DELIVERED TO THE MANNA FOOD PANTRY. WE DELIVERED 5 CHICKEN SHEDS TO EXPAND EGG PRODUCTION. THE HENS PRODUCED APPROXIMATELY 13,500 DOZEN EGGS IN 2024. THIS ALLOWS PEOPLE IN APPALACHIA TO FEED THEIR FAMILY AND HELP TO FEED THEIR NEIGHBORS. CURRENT EGG PRODUCTION IS APPROXIMATELY 180 DOZEN EGGS PER. WEEK.
