The Florida Phosphate Council is the leading voice for the phosphate manufacturing industry in Florida, supporting its competitiveness and contribution to the state and nation. Phosphate is an essential nutrient and part of everyday life. Phosphate helps America's farmers grow more crops on fewer acres, keeps human bodies strong, and even helps clean human teeth. Before farmers can use phosphate products, they have to be produced. Florida is home to abundant phosphate deposits, and the state's phosphate industry is making responsible and sustainable phosphate by using the latest technology and environmental preservation techniques. FL Phosphate Council and its Phosphate Innovation Initiative have logged more than 2.5 million impressions and engagements through various social media channels and more than 25,000 website visitors in 2024.
