Areas of learning and achievement: * Incorporated in Massachusetts and obtained IRS Determination Letter as a 501c3 charitable organization during 2022 * Incorporated in Massachusetts and obtained IRS Determination Letter as a 501c3 charitable organization during 2022 * Established a multi-racial multi-cultural local leadership team * Connected with other local groups; learned to cope with apathy and mild opposition from some groups * Supported and sometimes co-sponsored public events initiated by other anti-racist or pro-immigrant groups * Took seminars and otherwise got involved with the Nonprofit Center for the Berkshires helping us avoid some rookie errors. * Set up operational rules and guidelines including for the all-minority Distributions Committee * Brought two high school students onto the leadership team benefiting from their energy and up-to-date insights * Followed through on our enthusiastic reception by Latino groups this being the largest and poorest minority in our county * Began developing informational and inspirational presentations for white audiences; received encouraging results SEE 990 form for Racial Fairness Berkshires Inc EIN 88-4003090 for additional information on activities and finances
