2023 was the second year of operation of our Dog Park. Operating ONLY on user-DONATED funds the People & Pets Park Association designed and installed a Dog Park. The Dog Park is approximately 1 acre in size surrounded by a commercial-grade aluminum fence with a double-gated entry and a maintenance gate. A 12x16 seating area was installed with pavers and an awning covering the pad. Benches were placed in the seating area as well as throughout the Dog Park. A water fountain was installed for the use of the dogs. Waste stations were installed throughout the Dog Park. The land on which the Dog Park was installed was provided rent-free for public recreational purposes. Additional amenities will be added as further donations are received. Only program-related expenses were incurred in 2023.
