CCI's initial most significant activity is the organization and execution of a multi-year capital campaign dedicated to the formation of the Cornish Library and Community center. If the campaign is successful it is anticipated that the real property formerly known as the Cornish General Store will be donated to CCI and CCI will coordinate and fund the renovation of the building to house the library and community center. CCI would then gift the renovated building to the Town of Cornish, New Hampshire. The CCI has seen early success in its capital campaign initiative having received through June 30, 2024 $472,903 in gifts and grants and $515,650 in pledges. This result was achieved due to the efforts of several community volunteers and purchasing $8,481 of professional fundraising services.
