THE MISSION OF THE ORGANIZATION IS "TO SURROUND STUDENTS WITH A COMMUNITY OF SUPPORT, EMPOWERING THEM TO STAY IN SCHOOL AND ACHIEVE IN LIFE". COMMUNITIES AND THE SCHOOL DISTRICTS IN NEVADA WILL TURN TO CIS FOR SOLUTIONS AND RESOURCES SUCH AS MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING, BASIC NEEDS PROVISIONING, FAMILY AND COMMUNITY STRENGTHENING, LIFE SKILLS TRAINING, MENTORING AND TUTORING TO PROVIDE THE SUPPORT STUDENTS NEED TO SUCCEED IN SCHOOL. THE ORGANIZATION BELIEVES THAT EVERY CHILD SHOULD HAVE COMPLETE ACCESS TO A QUALITY EDUCATION. TO ADVANCE THE MISSION, THE ORGANIZATION IS WORKING TO BECOME A LEADING NON-PROFIT BY EFFECTIVELY COMMUNICATING THE PROVEN VALUE OF THE MODEL AND ADOPTING STRONG FISCAL POLICIES AND PROCEDURES.
