Community Services of Nevada offers counseling services for low to moderate income first time homebuyers, homeowners who are having difficulties managing their mortgages, and those who are in default on their mortgages. Homebuyer education classes and workshops that were held during 2022 serviced people, and those clients were able to avoid foreclosure and to purchase their first home. Others were helped for credit repairs so they could become eligible for a mortgage.
The organization participated in the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program to provide free income tax preparation assistance.
Post purchase services are provided to assist homeowners in home maintenance and finacial literacy.
