Safe Embraces Safe House & Survivor Support program provides a dual focus shelter for victims of domestic abuse, sexual violence, and human trafficking in Washoe County, Nevada. These services are provided at no cost to the survivors and are extended to the survivors children and pets. Our safe house is the most inclusive shelter of its kind in the Reno/Sparks area accomodating male, LGBTQIA2+, and survivors with disabilities. The safe house is pet friendly. Annually, the safe house provided more than 2,600 bed nights for primary survivors, their children, and pets. In addition, Safe Embrace providesindividual and group counseling sessions, legal advocacy assistance, case management sessions,Kids Club activities, and bystander intervention and prevention education programs to the northern Nevada community.

This program offers motel nights to primary and secondary survivors and emergency transportation assistance funds annually.
