Monthly Luncheons: Our monthly luncheons exist for both educational and networking purposes, allowing our members to learn from a carefully selected variety of knowledgeable speakers on current issues and topics relevant to the industry. We transitioned from webinars to in-person luncheons in 2021. We held 2 virtual luncheons and 3 in-person luncheons in 2021.BOMA Annual Toby Awards February 25, 2021: The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) Awards is the most prestigious and comprehensive program of its kind in the commercial real estate industry recognizing quality in commercial buildings and rewarding excellence in building management. During the competition, all facets of a building's operations are thoroughly evaluated. Buildings are judged on everything from community involvement, tenant relations and site management to environmental and "green" policies and procedures. The competition consists of three levels and begins at the BOMA local association level. Winning entries advance from there to the regional level, then to the international level. The international TOBY Awards are presented at the BOMA International Conference in June of each year. Education: BOMI is the most widely recognized and respected learning provider in the industry. Their credential programs provide skills needed to enhance our member's careers. In 2021, we held 2 classes for budgeting and accounting, investment and finance. Networking Mixers: We organized 2 virtual mixers and 2 in-person mixers in 2021, allowing members to network in a less formal setting to encourage team building within our organization.
