NUCA Las Vegas held it's inagural Backhoe Rodeo in October. The purpose of the event was a competition between equipment operators in southern Nevada. We had aproximately 100 operators enter the competition. The competition consisted of challenges that measured the skill and speed of the operator. We also sold booths to sponsors which raised over $100,000. The public was invited and we estimated 2000 attended. The purpose of the event was to promote careers in the trades serving the construction industry. Net proceeds are used to fund our Scholarship and PAC Programs along with Chapter operations
