LASTLY, THE SOCIETY SUPPORTS FAMILIES OF DESCENDANTS OF SOLDIERS KILLED IN THE REVOLUTIONARY WAR FROM RHODE ISLAND. THE SOCIETY OF THE CINCINNATI IN THE STATE OF RHODE ISLAND AND PROVIDENCE PLANTATIONS IS PART OF THE NATIONAL SOCIETY OF THE CINCINNATI THAT IS MADE UP OF 14 SOCIETIES THAT REPRESENT THE 13 ORIGINAL COLONIES AND THE COUNTRY OF FRANCE.
