From the very beginning Mutera s impact has grown because of the incredible organizations, schools, clinics, and community leaders who have stood along side of us. Together we have walked with thousands of survivors to ensure access to medical care, legal advocaacy, and emotional support. We have partnered with schools and clinics to challenge harmful norms and promote prevention and strengthened referral systems so survivors could be connected to resources where none had existed before. This year Muteral Global Healing celebrated a major milestone as our founder Tabitha Mpamira was awarded an Echoing Green Fellowship amplifying our mission to combat child sexual violence and furthering our vision of a safer future for children globally.
