WIMNA HOSTS AN ANNUAL SUMMIT CALLED WOMEN WITH DRIVE (WWD). AS A PROPERTY OF WIMNA, THIS IS AN INDUSTRY EVENT THAT BRINGS TOGETHER INDUSTRY LEADERS, DRIVERS, STUDENTS, AND ASPIRING INDIVIDUALS IN MOTORSPORTS TO DISCUSS CURRENT ISSUES, CHALLENGES AND NEEDS TO ADVANCE OPPORTUNITIES FOR A MORE DIVERSE AND INCLUSIVE ENVIRONMENT TO ULTIMATELY HELP GROW THE MOTORSPORTS INDUSTRY. IN 2023 OVER 450 PEOPLE ATTENDED THE WWD SUMMIT AND THE REVENUE NOTED WERE FOR REGISTRATION FEES AND PRODUCT SALES. ADDITIONAL REVENUE CAME FROM PARTNERS AND SPONSORS WHO SEE THE NEED TO SUPPORT THIS IMPORTANT EDUCATIONAL INITIATIVE.

WITH $400K SUPPORT FROM ANHEUSER BUSCH, ACCELERATE HER IS A CONTINGENCY PROGRAM FOR WOMEN RACERS OVER 21 YEARS OF AGE AND LICENSED TO RACE IN ANY NASCAR SANCTIONED RACE. WIMNA CREATED THE POINTS SYSTEM TO AWARD POINTS BASED ON QUALIFYING AND FINISHISNG POSITIONS THAT TAKES INTO CONSIDERATION THE LENGTH OF THE RACE, HOW MANY COMPETITORS IN THE RACE, AND THE CATEGORY OF THE RACING SERIES. WIMNA MAINTAINS THE POINTS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR, PROMOTES THE STANDINGS ON THE WIMNA WEBSITE AND SOCIAL MEDIA, AND DISTRIBUTES THE AWARDED FUNDS TO THE TOP THREE FINISHING DRIVERS AT THE WOMEN WITH DRIVE SUMMIT.
