By expanding its legal network from 5 to 20 partner attorneys, CIJF increased its services at the Aurora Immigrant Detention Center. It funded 98 consultations, nearly five times the 2024 total, and provided full representation for 36 immigrants. CIJF also funded the logistical support for Denvers NewLife Legal Clinic, enabling 228 immigrants from 13 countries to submit complex I589 asylum applications. In partnership with the Southern California Immigration Project, CIJF funded 26 asylum cases for immigrants detained in Calexico, CA. In Louisiana, CIJF provided 30000 dollars in funding towards a 100000 dollar matching grant, enabling Home is Here NOLA to hire an immigration attorney to provide legal services to immigrants detained in Louisiana.
