HERE TO HELP FOUNDATION

During the year, Here to Help Foundation carried out a variety of direct community support services aimed at assisting unhoused, low-income, and vulnerable individuals and families in Los Angeles. The Foundations efforts focused on providing essential basic needs, advocacy, and access to long-term stability resources. The organization provided food, personal hygiene items, and other basic supplies at two community shelters, ensuring that individuals experiencing housing insecurity had access to necessities at no cost. In addition, the Foundation organized a Christmas toy drive for children in underserved communities, distributing donated new toys and bringing holiday support to families who might not otherwise receive gifts. Beyond these initiatives, the Foundation also offered a range of ongoing services designed to improve quality of life and promote self-sufficiency, including: Immediate Housing Assistance: Partnering with other organizations to provide shared housing and meals. Housing Navigation Services: Helping clients secure affordable and stable housing by assisting with applications, waitlists, and vouchers. Fee Waivers for IDs and Birth Certificates: Supporting homeless and low-income individuals in obtaining vital identification needed for employment and housing. Employment Workshops: Offering job readiness and employment support classes. Laundry & Shower Services: Providing free access to facilities to maintain personal hygiene. Treatment Assistance: Helping those in need of substance abuse treatment and re-entry support. These combined efforts enhanced the physical well-being and long-term prospects of many community members, advancing the Foundations mission of uplifting individuals and strengthening underserved communities.
