2023 WAS SPENT PLANNING AND ORGANIZING THE DEVELOPMENT OF OUR FIRST NEIGHBORHOOD DESIGNED TO SERVE THE CHRONICALLY HOMELESS, PROVIDENCE PARK. THE YEAR WAS SPENT WORKING WITH PULASKI COUNTY TO FIND THE LAND, WORKING WITH CIVIL ENGINEERS AND ARCHITECTS TO DESIGN THE MASTER PLAN AND MEETING WITH SUPPORTERS WITHIN OUR COMMUNITY TO DESIGN SUPPORT SERVICES. SEVERAL REPLICATOR TRAINING SYMPOSIUMS WERE HELD BY COMMUNITY FIRST! VILLAGE AND ERRIN STANGER, FOUNDER AND CEO, ATTENDED THE TRAININGS AND ORGANIZED SEVERAL BOARD MEMBER SITE VISITS TO COMMUNITY FIRST! VILLAGE. WE HELD 4 TOWNHALL MEETINGS WITHIN CENTRAL AR TO EXPLAIN THE PROJECT. WE PARTICIPATED IN OUTREACH SERVICES WITH ANOTHER LOCAL HOMELESS ORGANIZATION, THE VAN, AND STOCKED THE REFUGE CHURCH BLESSING BOX ON A MONTHLY BASIS.WE VOLUNTEERED AT AN EMERGENCY SHELTER THAT SERVED THE HOMELESS DURING THE WINTER.WE PARTICIPATED IN THE NATIONAL MAKE48 COMPETITION HELD IN NORTH LITTLE ROCK, AR, BY BEING THE LEAD CHALLENGE FOR THE COMPETITION: INNOVATION DESIGNS WITHIN TINY HOMES FOR THE HOMELESS. WE PROVIDED HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS FOR HOMELESS INDIVIDUALS DURING FREEZING TEMPERATURES.
