During 2025 Friends of Bachman Lake organized and led eight volunteer workdays focused on planting trees habitat restoration removal of invasive chinese privet and trash removal at both the greenbelt and at the park. The organization also conducted soil testing through Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service to inform science-based restoration planning and guide native plant decision. Friends of Bachman Lake supported an Eagle Scout service project resulting in the design and installation of wayfinding signs along some of the nature trails. $1,238.82 GSD + $1,368.69 equipment & supplies
