AIR PROGRAM: LAUNCHED IN 2009, THE RESIDENCY PROGRAM AT GLASSHOUSE IS DESIGNED FOR PROFESSIONALS IN THE PERFORMANCE ART FIELD TO DEEPEN THEIR WORK AND RESEARCH IN THE FIELD OF PERFORMANCE ART WHILE ENGAGING WITH THE VARIOUS COMMUNITIES IN/AROUND GLASSHOUSE. IN 2024, FOLLOWING AN PEN CALL, THE COLLABORATIVE DUO STACY LYNN SMITH AND ALEX ROMANIA WERE INVITED ALONG WITH PIONEERING ARTIST MARYLIN ARSEM(NOVE24). ARTISTS NOW RECEIVE ACCOMODATION, PROJECT DEVELOPMENT ASSISTANCE, AND A SMALL STIPEND. WHILE OPEN FOR INTERNATIONAL ARTISTS, A PRIORITY IS GIVEN TO NYS ARTISTS. PART OF THE RESIDENCY IS TO CREATE AN EXCHANGE WITH LOCAL ORGANIZATIONS, COMMUNITY MEMBERS AND/OR THE CAMPUS COMMUNITY.
