Veternarian, Farrier and Medications ExpensesTake Two Equine Rescue was founded in June of 2022 and became a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in July 2022. We rescue horses, mules, and donkeys from the acution pipeline where the animals are shipped from traders and acutions. In 2022 33 equines were rescued. Each of these horuses need veternarian visits, visits by a farrier and medications, before they can be adopted and find thier forever homes. Of those 33 animals 11 where rehomed.

Horse Purchase fees. During 2022 most of 33 equines were purchased from the slauder pipeline. These animal in need are found at actuons of from a private party. When necessary we purchase the animals and bring them to the sanctuary. We also take owner surrenders (they are given to us, not purchased). Some of them are not adoptable and reside at the rescue for their life.
