Cunniff Dixon Foundation Website Update - In 2023, our team redesigned the Cunniff-Dixon Foundation website. Working with Sun Digital Marketing leads Jon Pacific and Trevor Clendenin the nine month process was a much needed revamping to bring the design and content up to date and create a more streamlined, user friendly engagement for our audiences. Video components have created greater interaction and lengthier stays from our visitors. The site is now a showpiece garnering attention from media, leaders in the field and general public community as well as donor interest.To that end, we were sought out by ASCIA Partners, one of the largest providers of long term care health insurance, to provide a presence within their YourCare360 online offering of helpful end of life care tools. Planning My Way, our free guide to healthcare decisions created and maintained by the Cunniff-Dixon Foundation is now a featured program offering. Further, the Planning My Way website was updated to reflect proper operative systems and align fluidly with the YourCare360 platform.Pertaining to Planning My Way the Cunniff-Dixon Foundation (CDF) continues to broadcast engagement opportunities with the platform for the general public in English and Spanish. Organic outreach is targeted via consistent social media posting via the Planning My Way Facebook page which has been the impetus for likes and shares of content related to advance care planning and recognized by individuals as well as organizations. Seabury, an active life planning community based in Connecticut, reached out with a request for us to create a live presentation. Over 100 Seabury community members attended and Planning My Way Guide modules distributed during the event.In 2023, CDF greenlit plans to create an influencer interview series with an online presence. Acclaimed experts in the field of palliative medicine and end-of-life care will be featured in short, edited video interviews posted to our website, on social media platforms and included in outreach correspondence. The content will serve as a natural magnet to leverage the weight of CDF and bring attention to palliative care and advanced care planning.In celebration of Palliative Care Day on October 10, 2023 in San Antonio, Texas and as part of the Palliative Care Interdisciplinary Advisory Council, our executive director, Andrew Peters, was invited to speak on the work of CDF and end of life care tool, Planning My Way, with a distinguished gathering of dignitaries, and national leaders in palliative care. Based on his superlative information and presentation, Mr. Peters has received an invitation to speak again in 2024 at the same gathering.CDFs long-running physician awards program opened in October of 2023 for nominations of exemplary physicians in palliative care and will include six substantial awards ranging from $15,000 - $25,000 for the nationally esteemed honor. The awards continue to grow in stature and authority with competitive nominations increasing. 2023 also marked the Cunniff-Dixon Foundations second year of nursing awards. Three deserving nurses in palliative care were selected and awarded $25,000 each with live award ceremonies held in New York, Connecticut and South Carolina. Storytelling video compilations of each ceremony including a sit-down interview with each awardee were produced by CDF and are located on the Cunniff-Dixon Foundation website as well as posted to our social media pages and shared by each winning organization and individual.Finally, the 2023 CDF donor campaign was highly successful with CDF receiving a six figure match in donations from a generous benefactor.
