THE DOOR IS A 24/7 EMERGENCY SHELTER FOR YOUTH AGES 6-18. THE SHELTER PROVIDES A SAFE PLACE TO SLEEP, NUTRITIOUS MEALS, SUPPORTIVE SERVICES, AND YOUTH/PARENT ADVOCACY. OUR GOAL IS TO ADDRESS PROBLEMS "UPSTREAM" BEFORE THEY BECOME CHRONIC. IT IS OUR HOPE TO GIVE EVERY YOUTH THAT COMES THROUGH OUR DOORS A SECOND CHANCE AT A BETTER LIFE. THIS YEAR WE PROVIDED SHELTER TO OVER 150 YOUTH, 2,857 MEALS, EXTENDED REACH SERVICES TO 120 YOUTH, AND 1,354 MEALS TO FAMILIES.
