We provide academic advising for students (primarily 8th grade through college). We meet families online, on school and college campuses, at community events, homeschool coops, in private homes, and in pop-up offices around the country. We evaluate each students situation to figure out what they need in order to graduate high school or college successfully. This often includes finding a new school or curriculum and connecting them to ongoing resources and extracurricular opportunities. We often guide them to vetted support services such as tutors, health practitioners, counselors and therapists, and educational specialist. For 12th grade and beyond, we assist individual students and families with college planning, selection, admissions, and scholarships. Our two big goals are helping families avoid taking on debt for college, and stopping students from exiting their educational pathway prematurely, especially at the high school level.

Academic Assessments & Strategies - We provide one-on-one assessments and advising for students in high school and college. Our primary student is struggling academically. This may be due to learning differences, psychological issues, a change in family circumstances, or yet to be determined factors. Regardless of the problem or the causes, we find viable school and financing options for every student that we work with. Most clients report staying with our academic plan into the next school year. We coordinate resources with dozens of providers to provide ongoing support as needed.

Home School Oversight Services - We advise, support, guide, and maintain documents for homeschooled high school students. We assist in picking classes each semester that fulfill their state's graduation requirements. We perform a test analysis and provide testing guidelines and recommendations for test prep services. We suggest extracurriculars and build a high school resume. We interact with numerous high schools, junior colleges, and private course providers to assure each student is properly educated and prepared for post high school success. We perform counselor functions when these students apply to college.

College Admissions & Scholarships - We work with high school seniors to select colleges for admissions. We provide aptitude testing to guide them towards a major. We actively find or otherwise provide scholarships for graduating high school students. We assist in the college admissions process from filling out applications to editing essays to providing letters of recommendation. We obtained scholarships for more than 69 students entering college for the first time last year, thus avoiding those families having to take on debt for their post-secondary education.
