Qigong is the self-healing branch of traditional Chinese medicine that involves still and movement meditation. This practice has been shown to improve health by strengthening the body, calming the mind and lessening stress and tension. Other healing benefits include stress reduction, improved focus, attention, and mental clarity and increased energy. In addition to the movement practice, students learn from a body of work known as Ren Xue which teaches how to use and cultivate consciousness in a positive way for healthy development of life. Students are taught to recognize how their patterns of consciousness influence their well-being and how to substitute healthier patterns to optimize wellness. Sliding scale is available to all students and pro bono sessions are offered for those not able to afford the usual fees.

Group classes are offered weekly and workshops are offered periodically throughout the year to compliment the main service of individual sessions. These classes consist of learning and practicing tools to help reduce stress, calm the mind and maintain a healthy state of well-being both physical and mental. Some classes include group discussions which encourage students to relate and learn from one another. The community aspect helps everyone work on themselves, as well as help those around them. Students are always offered a free introductory class. No student is turned away for lack of funds for continued classes.
