The members of the Post have strived to build on four pillars: Service to Veterans. Service to Youth and Families. Service to our Community. Patriotism. Post 51 provides a permanent location for Veterans to congregate, enjoy a meal, play cards or bingo. The post offers public education through parades and 3 local fairs to support youth through scholarships, including Patriotic Pen Essay Contest and Voice of democracy contest for local schools. Services to the community include monthly trips to VA hospital. Honor Guard participation in funerals and ceremonies. We have many community groups that use our hall for meetings such as the American Legion, American Legion Riders, and Spokane Marine Corps League to name a few. We also have a hall with kitchen available for events.
