THE PRIMARY WORK OF THE FOUNDATION IS TO PROVIDE A NEED-BASED SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM AND EMERGENCY FINANCIAL SUPPORT TO WWCC STUDENTS. SCHOLARSHIPS TOTALING OVER $1,085,000 IN 2023 WERE AWARDED TO 572 STUDENTS IN 2023 AND 48 STUDENTS RECEIVED EMERGENCY FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TOTALING $24,000 IN 2023. THROUGH ITS WORK, THE FOUNDATION PROMOTES EQUITY, INCLUSION AND ACCESS TO A COLLEGE EDUCATION, HELPS MAINTAIN CONNECTIONS BETWEEN THE COLLEGE AND THE COMMUNITY, AND SERVES AS THE FISCAL SPONSOR FOR THE WALLA WALLA VALLEY EARLY LEARNING COALITION.
