SPECIALIZED PROGRAMMING TO SUPPORT CHILDREN INCLUDES PROGRAMS SUCH AS THE CHERISH PROGRAM (FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES IN THE FOSTER CARE SYSTEM), THE CONNET PROGRAM (FOR CHILDREN WHO ARE HOMELESS OR AT RISK OF HOMELESSNESS), AND THE BRIDGE PROGRAM (FOR CHILDREN AT RISK OF DEVELOPMENTAL DELAYS). PROGRAMS AND SERVICES ARE DESIGNED TO HELP IMPROVE EARLY CHILDHOOD OUTCOMES FOR YOUNG CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL HEALTHCARE NEEDS AND EQUALLY, TO IMPROVE SYSTEMS COLLABORATION BETWEEN EARLY INTERVENTION PROGRAMS AND OTHER SOCIAL SERVICES (SUCH AS THE FOSTER CARE, HOMELESSNESS, AND EARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATION SYSTEMS).
